In depth

Verdict

Just seven go to post for this finale and all of them can be given some sort of a chance, but we will side with On The Trail, who can beat Keresforth and Secret Vision. David Chapman has started to get amongst the winners and On The Trail, a winner here in November, can add to the trainer's recent tally. You do have to ignore his last outing but his previous placed efforts read well and he can land this poor event. Keresforth is quite capable on his day and doesn't have too much to find with the selection on January running. If on a going day he will be hard to keep out of the frame. Secret Vision had winning form here before Christmas and cannot easily be discounted. Comic Tales could prove best of the others, but in what is a very open event On The Trail is given the nod.
