In depth
Verdict
Not a race to get too enthused about. Pooka's Daughter is consistent in the grade and should have the measure of this mottley bunch at the weights. Robert Winston rides his fair share of winners at the track and Efimac is given to chase Milton Bradley's charge home. Neville Bycroft has stepped her up to a mile for the first time and the booking of Winston , makes some appeal. Jane's Gem ran her best race for some time behind If I Can Dream in January. She did get the run of the race though and if anything, the run of Pertemps Bianca, who was less fortunate, caught the imagination.
