In depth

Verdict

Splendidio and Fly Time have both displayed plenty of ability and can make their mark here, however we just prefer Baytown Paikea. The selection, as with most of theses, is well exposed but has put in some solid efforts this campaign. He was in fact successful at Yarmouth last month. Two subsequent defeats have been in decent selling company and this event could be less taxing. Splendidio started life with Mick Channon and ran on the all-weather at Lingfield in early June. She has disappointed a little on her two runs for her new yard, however both races were on the turf and we may see a form revival now she is back on an artificial surface. Channon himself is represented by Fly Time who drops into a seller for the first time having shown plenty of ability at the start of this campaign. Minimum Fuss is a consistent type and may do best of the others, but we return to Baytown Paikea for our main fancy.
