Verdict

A tricky opener as none of these tick all of the boxes. Xpres Maite is a multiple winner over shorter trips here, but even 1m2f has proved too far in the past, while stablemates Lifetime and Overrule are hard to separate. Both have the past form to figure and make their all-weather debuts today. The lack of a recent run is a negative for BIVOUAC, but on the plus side he's won four times on the Flat and a bumper on this surface so a tentative vote goes his way on his first start for nearly a year. The remaining pair look up against it.
