          Verdict

          Melbourne Cup 1-2 Dunaden and Red Cadeaux meet again over the half-mile shorter trip which should favour the runner-up who can gain revenge despite 2lb worse terms. Campanologist wins at the highest level but generally in Italy or Germany and when there is ease in the ground. His stable won this last year with Mastery and REDWOOD, who finished runner-up, looks to have been primed to go one better as he's had a very light campaign. Jakkalberry, Mighty High and Mr Medici were all behind a year ago and look held. Canadian International winner Sarah Lynx couldn't hack it in the Japan Cup but that was certainly no disgrace.
