Verdict

THE VOLLAN, a course and distance winner and cleverly campaigned by the Morgan team, has won his last two starts at this track and receives 11lb and upwards from rivals. He remains on the upgrade and is preferred to Topofthecotswolds, back to winning ways at Worcester last month after falling when looking in control at Fakenham. The latter should prove competitive despite a 5lb rise. Neville's Cross has 12-0 but is a useful chaser returning to lesser company after contesting a Listed affair latest and Red Happy rattled up a spring hat-trick and is a danger with conditions to suit, but is now 22lb higher than when launching his winning spree. Diablo De Rouhet was having a first run since December 2019 when unplaced at Uttoxeter and the market may prove the best guide to his chance.
