In depth

Verdict

Division Two of the maiden also looks likely to go to Nicky Henderson with his promising BENARTIC given his easiest opportunity to date while both Di Kaprio and Shoegazer have shown enough to suggest a challenge. After finding just the one too good on debut over 19 furlongs at Fontwell the selection held his form well next time up when placing over the same course and distance. The second that day has since gone on to record a hat-trick of wins over hurdles and a repetition of his runs so far should be good enough in this company. Di Kaprio ran well on debut in a polytrack bumper at Lingfield when finding just one in front. The form is a little weak from that contest but if building on that run he should go close. Shoegazer won his only outing in a point-to-point but found life a little tougher under rules in one of these races last time. It's too early to rule him out and this top yard can get him going again. Based on his pedigree Lord Equalizer doesn't look anything special but any market moves in his favour should be noted while Bow Badger took a step backward after his first try in public but based on his debut has more to offer, however, in this line-up Benartic looks to have an outstanding chance.
