Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Nicky Henderson has plenty of runners with claims during the afternoon and can take the honours here with his representative, DORT TRANQUILLE, who is probably a good deal better than than he showed on his Stratford debut and can open his account with the main dangers rated as the newcomers Senor Alco and Trojan Reef. Gerard Butler's gelding makes plenty of appeal on pedigree being a son of Selkirk out of a Caerleon mare and he may have more speed than most of his opponents so has to be respected. It is difficult to choose between the two runners trained by Gary Moore and there is probably little between Jupiter Warning and Salto Angel but the latter does have the benefit of having had two starts now. Turner Brown was well held first time up at Musselburgh and looks best watched in a race that is taken to go to Dort Tranquille.
