Verdict
The final race on the all-weather sees two stand out, Shank and Great As Gold. The latter was a course and distance scorer before Christmas and has been there or thereabouts in three runs here since then. Connections will be confident of a good run, but Shank could prove a thorn in the side. Sir Mark Prescott's charge has been running on over shorter trips and is worth trying over the extra distance. However, on breeding he is not guaranteed to get the trip and with that in mind, Great As Gold looks the safer option. Best of the rest is Littleton Amethyst who was a beaten favourite at Wolverhampton after running a bit too keenly. She should win a little race soon and can at least make the frame here.
