    In depth

    Verdict

FINISTERE was far too keen last time at Warwick but an earlier third at Newbury makes him the clear form pick in this with that race producing multiple subsequent winners. Kensington Art won over 1m6f on the Flat but has appeared not to last home in his two runs to date over timber and this is quite a stiff track. Wicked West would have placed at Newcastle in December had he not fallen at the last and was then runner-up at Kelso so can’t be ignored.
