        Verdict

        Jo Joe Star gamely landed a weak contest last time and should go close in his follow up bid, however we will take a chance with Beamsley Beacon, Jalouhar looks best of the others. The selection was successful over the five furlong trip here in March and has performed with plenty of credit on numerous occasions since. He is just as effective over this distance and could be ready to strike again. Jo Jo Star beat Taylor Maid in a driving finish at Wolverhampton last time and could be on the upgrade, a place probably beckons. Meanwhile Jalouhar doesn't know how to run a bad race and should be on the premises again. Fitzwarren is another to consider for each-way purposes, but Beamsley Beacon may be on the way back to his best and he gets our vote.
