        Verdict

        This is possibly the best race on the card and Preskani gets our vote ahead of Tacid and Faith Is Flying. Norma Macauley's gelding has shown much improved form on his last two outings, and went down by a short margin behind The Job last time over course and distance. He certainly looks on the upgrade and could be the one to be on. Tacid is from a top yard and this recent Yarmouth winner wasn't beaten far at Wolverhampton last time. He will be hard to keep out of the frame. Faithisflying didn't appear to stay the mile last time behind Louve Heureux and will appreciate this drop back to seven. The pick of the remainder could be Ginger Cookie, but our idea of the winner is Preskani.
