Verdict
Gay Kelleway is striking while the iron is hot with VROOM, who landed a claimer over the course and distance last week under today's rider. This looks tougher but he won with such authority that a quick double looks on the cards. Billyoakes arrives in winning form and has four career victories to his credit but he ran moderately on his two previous starts on this track. Boots And Spurs hasn't run over a trip this short in over three years but led at the distance before caught close home when tackling 7f here a week ago. Personal Touch was having his 46th career start, but his first on this surface, when a good fourth in a better class race than this last week and the fact that he's been lowered 3lb in the weights and his rider can claim 3lb is a bonus so he looks a big threat.
