Verdict

Finding a selection in the finale has proven to be difficult but INGLEBY ARCH is the pick with close contention expected to come from Imprimis Tagula and Silent Hero. Eight of the 14 that race have won over course and distance in the past and the remainder have at least recorded wins over this trip. The selection is a bit of a specialist over the course and distance, winning four of his eights visits to the track. He was last seen here winning in February and looks more than capable of repeating the feat. Imprimis Tagula, another gelding with a good record at the track, is in great heart of late and should again make the frame. Her last three victories have come here but she may struggle against our selection. The Michael Jarvis-trained Silent Hero is not in particularly bad form of late but he is a rather unpredictable sort. In his current form he looks capable of finishing among the principles and he is returning to a track he has done particularly well on in the past. Don Pele and Choiseau look best of the remainder and should keep this contest interesting but for us none look better than Ingleby Arch.
