In depth

Verdict

MOON CRYSTAL gets the vote in this fillies' handicap over Quick Off The Mark and Mozayada. Ed Dunlop's filly was not helped by a slow start at Kempton last time when she wasn't beaten far in fourth behind Aphrodisia. However, she showed enough that day to suggest her turn would not be far away and off her current mark she should go close. Mozayada was in great form towards the end of last year winning four races on the spin, but the handicapper may now have her measure on the evidence of a disappointing effort last time. Quick Off The Mark won well at Wolverhampton last time when she beat Man Of Gwent, but the form was let down on Monday when Man Of Gwent ran a stinker. Bookiebasher Babe finished behind our selection last time and it is hard to see Mick Quinn's filly turning the tables today. All of which returns us to Moon Crystal as the pick.
