Verdict
Cerebus, Lucius Verrus and Radiator Rooney look the three to concentrate on in this handicap and the vote is given to Cerebus. The selection won well last time out when beating Black Sea Pearl. That horse has since franked the form and despite his penalty he is taken to defy the handicapper. Lucius Verrus rates the main danger as he has won his last two races in good style but he is rising in the weights and this looks more competitive. Radiator Rooney is another that could go well on his latest third behind Loupehole but one win in 24 attempts hardly inspires confidence. Of the remainder, Mullberry Lad is game and consistent and is sure to run his race at a price, but for the winner we return to the progressive Cerebus.
