In depth

Verdict

Fossos, fourth at Catterick 12 days ago after a first win at Redcar, is having only a second run on an artificial surface and should be thereabouts. Professor Galant and Marve are both previous course and distance winners entitled to respect racing off fair marks but a switch to the all-weather and the fitting of a visor could be the making of ONE FOR THE LADIES (NAP), who looks ideally drawn for a front-runner and has been knocking on the door on Turf lately.
