Verdict
The seller that was run here on December 3 might hold the key to this race and the winner of that race, Alizar, might have to give best here to Philly Dee, with Emaradia, Fisher's Dream and Whittinghamvillage others to consider. The selection finished three lengths behind Alizar that day but is now weighted to get closer. The step up to six furlongs should suit also, although it will not exactly hinder Alizar. Emaradia, fourth in the contest just mentioned, had earlier beaten Alizar so clearly has to come into the equation. On that same December 3 form, Are You There and Coleorton Prince look held. Turning to the others, Fisher's Dream was second in a similar event at Wolverhampton, while Pardon Moi might appreciate the drop in trip. Conversely, Dreams United is dropping in grade but, on breeding, six furlongs would not appear to be his ideal trip. Whittinghamvillage can be relied upon to run a solid race but, overall, well take the view that Philly Dee will improve at today's trip and gain revenge on Alizar and, accordingly, gets our vote.
