Verdict
Bourbon Manhattan looks to have been found an easy opportunity by Alan King and is duly selected in our opening contest. This smart bumper performer made a successful transition to hurdles at Aintree and should have no problem with the ground as he won a Newbury bumper on it last March. He may have most to fear from Mon Villez. Nicky Henderson's charge was a useful chaser in France and made a successful debut for the Seven Barrows handler at Folkestone. Fortune Point had a modicum of ability on the flat but has struggled thus far on his hurdling starts. Baron Blitzkrieg has shown little on two starts for Jonjo O'Neill while the market is watched with regard to Raygale. He returns after a long absence but had decent bumper form for Don Eddy a few seasons ago. Having considered the options,we will stick with the in-form Alan King and Bourbon Manhattan.
