Not one for the mortgage but Isca Maiden is a course and distance victor and just about makes enough appeal to warrant a selection. Possibly better over further she ran well enough to beat Maundy Rocker on her last start at Market Rasen and the ten pound claim of her jockey could be decisive here. Rayware Boy should have no problems with trip or going but has been inconsistent of late and the market should be watched for any positive moves. Longstone Loch showed glimpses of ability in a non-seller behind Bold Bishop at Market Rasen but it is rather disconcerting that connections have elected for a downgrade rather than another crack in novice company. Eviryn has ability but will need to learn how to settle before his turn in the winners enclosure awaits. Sheer Guts won in the grade before blotting the copybook at Leicester. Isca Maiden is given the nod although Longstone Loch is respected at bigger odds.
