Verdict
A trappy affair in which many hold serious chances. Selberry is a consistent old stick but with trainer Ed James without a winner for some time, confidence in Warren Marston's mount is obviously dented as a result. Ex-French horse Kelrev showed little for Venetia Williams last year but it would be wrong to crab him on that score and with Venetia's horses in much better nick these days, the market vibes will tell their own tale. Chancers Dante is interesting if able to handle the softer surface today. The Leader has ran well when fresh and Pat Chamings yard are in good form at present. Borehill Joker gets in lightly on old form but has to put a disappointing reappearance effort behind him. Taking has plenty on at these terms. The market is watched for clues but if Venetia Williams has got to the bottom of Kelrev - he could go well at a decent price.
