Verdict

Most of these are easily dismissed but Shan Blue went close over hurdles at Wetherby last month and was still in contention when falling at Newbury on his latest start. He’s preferred to stablemate Call Me Chris, who is having her second outing after wind surgery, but STONIFIC makes more appeal. The latter finished runner-up in testing ground at Sedgefield on his debut over hurdles with the rest beaten a long way and Richard Johnson is on board again for this. Perfect City is rated higher on the Flat than the selection but has yet to threaten over timber in three attempts.
