Verdict

Hi Tide scored in similar company at Worcester in October and should be thereabouts again despite a 6lb rise. Wordy's Boy is raised 10lb for an easy win in a lower grade contest over track and trip last month while The Pier has slid down the weights and showed improvement for it when runner-up at Bangor last time. PIPPA GREENE wasn't beaten far when fourth in better company at Kempton on his latest start. Re-united with winning partner Andrew Tinkler, he gets the vote. Today's going looks unsuitable for Hartside but the inconsistent Edmaaj may handle it and can figure with one of his better efforts.
