SENATE MAJORITY edges the vote after a strong performance in a maiden over course and distance most recently. Although weighted to account for that success, it was a taking first try on the Fibresand and against this opposition it wouldn't take too much improvement to land a first handicap win. Tag Team generally enjoys it round here and could be one to include in frame place calculations. On the pick of his ability Resplendent Alpha looks very well-treated in this race, particularly after a much better effort at Lingfield last time out. He runs off the same mark here and having really tried towards the line most recently to just lose out, he is certainly a major player. Takajan may just be a touch too high in the weights having been raised 6lb for winning here two starts ago, so Senate Majority is the democratic choice.
