In depth
Verdict
A terrible race here but something has to win and the principals look to be Mossmann George, Dennick and Eminence Gift and the tentative vote goes to Dennick. The selection was a fair fourth on his debut behind Sacred Nuts. That form looks rock solid in the context of this race and if he acts on the surface he will be hard to beat with his yard in top form. Mossmann George rates the main danger on his latest improved fourth behind Judd Street on his first attempt on this surface but he lacks the scope of the selection and for that reason he is passed over. Eminence Gift is another worthy of respect on her latest fourth behind Bogaz but that was in a seller and she has a little to find. Forfeiter is from a yard that does well at this track and he would have a chance on his best form but he was very disappointing last time so can not be put forward with any confidence. Of the remainder. Tanforan is is a well bred sort from a shrewd yard and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Dennick.
