Verdict
A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading fancies but the principals look to be Gifted Lass, Sister Gee and Orpen Wide and the vote goes to Sister Gee. The selection has experience of this surface and was a fair second last time out behind Dematraf in a maiden. The drop in trip looks sure to suit and if she can run up to that mark again she should go well at a price. Gifted Lass rates the main danger on her latest second behind Grigorovitch but her best form is at Wolverhampton and this surface is completely different so she is passed over on this occasion. Orpen Wide finished in mid-division behind Paris Bell in a better race last time and is another that could go well if she acts on the surface. Saucepot was a good second last time out and is another with place claims but she gave the impression she would be suited by a longer trip. Of the remainder Skiddaw Wolf is from a yard in form and is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Sister Gee.
