Verdict

HAKU (NAP) landed a treble with a victory at Wolverhampton on New Year’s Day. A further 5lb rise is negated by Billy Loughnane’s allowance and he looks the one to beat once again. Qaasid won over a shorter trip here last month while Blow Your Horn drops down in class after placing at Lingfield and is preferred to Nolton Cross. Vega Sicilia is a novice winner at Wolverhampton and Punxsutawney Phil won a maiden race at the same track.
