      Verdict

A competitive claimer here an the TEAMtalk selection is Golden Chance. The gelding from the Mick Easterby yard is taking a drop in class here and he ran as if still retaining a little ability when sixth behind Fiddlers Creek last time out. White Plains rates the main danger he is from a yard in top form and never runs a bad race and his latest second behind Polish Baron gives him every chance. Desert Spa is also worthy of consideration he has been running in much better handicaps of late, but prior to that he had a very good strike rate in claimers and this is his first run in a claimer for a while. Rainbow River has been running well of late but he seems to be off a running off a high enough mark for what he has archived. Precaster won a seller in good style over a slightly longer trip last time out in the style of an improver, and if he has improved again he could run well at a big price. Aberkeen would also have a chance on his best form but he has never won over a distance as far as this. Floriana is from a yard in good form and any market move could be significant.
