        Verdict

        Thus looks set to be a very entertaining claimer, as it features several course winners all capable of winning better races than this at their best. Mi Odds won a similar race to this last time out - his first start of the new year. He has enjoyed a good record at Southwell over the seasons, and does not give too much weight away to his opponents. King Priam has been inconsistent recently, but scored over two miles at Southwell in January, and can never be written out of the equation over 12f either, especially with Kieren Fallon on board. Favoriso certainly catches the eye. This six-year-old has run well at Southwell in the past without managing to get his head in front. After his win last time out at Wolverhampton, he is an each-way fancy again. It may also be worth looking out for a market move on So Precious. The bottom-weight won here over 11f in January and was just beaten a length into second by Mi Odds last time out. His jockey claims a further 5lbs from his featherweight, and So Precious could be a danger to the top-weight. Trojan Wolf stands out from the remainder. This eight-year-old regularly runs into the first three at Southwell, but his front-running tactics didn't help his cause last time out, when he was beaten by Mi Odds. He his better off with that rival on Tuesday and in with a good chance if he can recapture his form.
