John Gosden's Bullwhip is an interesting newcomer being by American sire Whipper and he has to be respected on a surface that should suit but VICTORY IDE SAY has easily the best form among those to have raced previously and the son of Fath can step up from his encouraging first start and take this with Don't Call Me looking the best of the rest. The selection ran better than expected on his debut at Kempton in December when finishing a close up third behind Passion Overflow having been sent off at 40/1 for that maiden. Peter Chapple-Hyam's gelding will be a lot shorter in the market today but justifiably so and he looks the one to beat. Mel Brittain's Turning Circle has run to a consistent level of form and should be thereabouts again but he is likely to once more find at least one too good, while Mark Johnston's Coxwain is hard to back on the evidence of what we have seen of him so far. There are some interesting newcomers in the race including Michael Bell's son of Footstepsinthesand, Collect Art, and Bryan Smart's Don't Call Me, who is by Haafhd, and the last mentioned makes plenty of appeal with the yard's runners in good form but it is hard to get away from Victory Ide Say, who can make a winning first start on the Fibresand.
