In depth

Verdict

Cee Cee Rider has shown improved form for the step up in trip, being narrowly beaten at Uttoxeter last week, and Alan King's mare gets the vote to go one better with the main dangers rated as Golden Snoopy and Whatdoidowiththat. The last mentioned was good value for his win at Hexham last time but a 12lb rise for that race looks harsh and Sue Smith's gelding may be best watched. Eight Fifty Six has been disappointing of late and is hard to recommend on recent form, while Silver Bow has slipped to a fair mark but is not a confirmed stayer. Boysterous has been well held in all starts and of more interest may be recent Wetherby winner Golden Snoopy, although he is 5lbs higher here. This is a poor contest to end the day's racing and Cee Cee Rider looks the most likely winner of it.
