        Verdict

        Air Of York ran his best race so far when second at Wolverhampton but he's badly treated against Macarthurs Park on earlier running at the same track. Purple Surprise has more scope but MILADY EILEEN (NAP) is equally lightly-raced. This will be the latter's first try on an artificial surface but there's a good chance she's a bit better than she's shown so far so she gets the vote. Cherry Empress wasn't beaten far dropped into this grade at Kempton and rates the danger.
