        Verdict

        Activation was only beaten half-a-length in a claimer at Wolverhampton last month. He's still awaiting a first win but has as good a chance as any in this at the weights. But we just prefer HONEY REQUIRED, despite a disappointing effort when favourite for a nursery at Kempton last time. She won at this level at Newmarket in the summer and a repeat of her run at Nottingham a month ago would suffice against these. Excelling Oscar was second over course and distance last time, when Invincible Wish was behind, but blinkers would need to bring about improvement for him to go one better here.
