      Verdict

      Karmest, Book of Facts and Dream Forest make most appeal in this apprentice handicap to open the card and the vote goes to Karmest. The selection had been in good form prior to a slightly disappointing effort last time out. However, it could be argued that she did not get the race run to suit that day and although she has been creeping up the weights, she looks worth another chance to get back to winning ways. Book Of Facts does have ability and he has been running over hurdles of late. However, his flat form last season was regressive and he may be best watched today. Dream Forest disappointed in this grade last time but he does have winning form at this track and if he can get back to his best he can get competitive. The booking of Ross Atkinson is a positive for Kentucky Bullet, but this does look a good opportunity for Karmest to get back no track and she is our pick.
