In depth

Verdict

Plenty of guesswork needed in this opener as Elusive is the only one with experience of the track and she's only finished ahead of one opponent in six starts. ROC DE PRINCE has been placed on several occasions and he gets the speculative vote on last year's form ahead of Gods Gift, placed at Yarmouth last time and also having his first start since October. Dorfman is worth noting on his debut although his breeding suggests a shorter trip would have been more to his liking while bumper winner Chain Reactor has shown nothing in a couple of starts on the level.
