In depth

Verdict

A trappy event, even though there are not many runners. Newcomer Forest Rail wouldn't have to be anything special to take a hand in the finish, while Uhuru Dawn didn't exactly shine on her All-Weather debut at Lingfield, although this surface may bring about improvement. Countykat is from the same family as Zietzig, who is effective on this surface. He was not beaten far at Ripon on his latest outing and is sure to be involved in this. Easy Rider showed plenty of pace at Kempton and if he takes to this surface, he could well take a bit of pegging back, but a chance is taken with Pertemps Wizard, who came from a long way back at Wolverhampton on his debut and he expected to know more this time.
