In depth

Verdict

Silly Billy won a claimer here a couple of weeks ago and is at his best on the surface though he is generally beaten in handicaps from this sort of mark. Ostralegus had earned a rating of 58 when scrambling home in a Lingfield maiden at 33/1 so a mark of 69 looks harsh. Cape Of Hope has been consistent on all surfaces so the fact that he races here for the first time may not be too much of a problem, nor should it be for George Fenton, who has run only twice here but won six times on Polytrack. Ace Master goes well on the track but looks a few pounds high so in the hope that KYLLACHY STAR acts on the surface, his first run here on his 61st career start, he's handed the vote to continue his recent resurgence in a visor.
