Verdict
Rebellious Spirit is selected here ahead of Gifted Gamble and Glenbuck. Rebellious Spirit keeps rising in the ratings as a consequence of some good runs, one of which was a narrow defeat by Top Mark at Lingfield last time. Back on today's surface, a three-pounds rise for that good effort should not stop him from again running well. Gifted Gamble was narrowly beaten from today's mark at Wolverhampton two runs ago and, with Jamie Spencer booked to ride, a solid run is anticipated. The handicapper might have taken Orpen Wide's measure now so Glenbuck, who races here from a winning Turf mark, could be a better option although, in this respect, the betting market might prove to be your best guide. Finally, Ocean Of Dreams and Tyzack looked a bit more like their old selves last-time out and would hold claims if building on those efforts, and you can never rule out a good run from Mandarin Spirit at this type of level. For the selection, though, we will stick with Rebellious Spirit.
