    Verdict

LIKE ICE just held on for victory at Stratford last time despite his rider dropping his whip and hitting the last obstacle. He'd have won more easily otherwise and is taken to follow up. Tekthelot was only beaten a length over these hurdles in between a couple of modest efforts and a return to this track may bring improvement while this looks slightly easier than the races Ripoff has been competing in of late. Politelysed is up 7lb for her victory at Uttoxeter but the form doesn't look much stronger than Jamaddji's second at Sedgefield for which she's only been raised 5lb.
