In depth

Verdict

TEMUR KHAN has been competing on Polytrack since finishing runner-up over track and trip last month. He may finally have fallen far enough down the weights to get his head back in front and can confirm running here with Fortultous. The latter wasn’t that far behind and is preferred to previous course winners Sociologist and Compass Point while En Couleur has been hurdling but placed in a maiden on the Flat here last year. Contingency Fee has won just the once since landing this race in 2019 and that was in a seller.
