        Verdict

        Papa Ricco, a winner at Nottingham in April, has yet to place in three runs on Polytrack but may do better on this surface. Artisan Dancer was only beaten a short-head over course and distance in March but has rarely broken out of a trot since. Though a beaten favourite at Newcastle at the start of the month, ELOPED (NAP) has clearly improved lately and may be worth another chance here. Roman Art was also a beaten favourite last time but Windsor winner Queensland Boy is the more progressive, though didn’t appear to handle this surface at Wolverhampton in May.
