Verdict
Salute has an obvious chance at the weights on the pick of his form but is difficult to recommend on recent evidence and may be best watched in a contest that is taken to go to Danelor, who is preferred to Kylkenny and Mi Odds. The last mentioned is a gallant nine-year-old, who bounced back to winning ways over course and distance two weeks ago when landing another claimer and beating both Danelor and Kylkenny in the process. All three that contested that event have to be respected but the selection is much better treated at the revised weights and a reproduction of that latest effort should see Richard Fahey's runners come out on top. Daring Affair and Romil Star are closely matched on their running in another claimer over a furlong further here last month and also have to be respected along with Stolen Song but Danelor holds solid claims at the weights and he gets the vote.
