      Verdict

Ok Pal made a successful return to the all-weather when landing a handicap at Wolverhampton in good fashion earlier this month and is taken to follow up off his new mark on this different surface with Lake Chini and Pawan rated the main dangers. Lack of experience of this surface is of concern for the selection but the Terry Mills-trained gelding won with plenty in hand lasttime and is taken to score again. Maktavish is clearly held by Ok Pal on running last time and of more interest may be Tartatartufata, who has plenty of speed but also plenty of weight. Anfield Dream showed signs of a revival here over six furlongs on his most recent start and could be of interest back to the minimum trip although a bigger danger is likely to come from the progressive Lake Chini, although he is not certain to be suited by the drop to five furlongs. Pawan has been running into form of late and has solid place claims but Ok Pal was impressive at Wolverhampton last time and gets the vote in the hope that he can translate Polytrack form to the Fibresand.
