Verdict

Katie Gale has won three times here on Fibresand and twice over hurdles. She could easily bounce back from a below-par run at Kempton but her yard also run the less-exposed WESTERN PRINCE, who appreciated the step up to this trip at Musselburgh in September – he is fancied to follow up here off a 5lb higher mark. Brian Ellison’s stable is in great form but Serenity Now hasn’t raced since falling over hurdles in March, though has won twice here over 1m4f. Spiritoftomintoul is another returning from a break but Safira Menina was second here last month and races off the same mark
