In depth
Verdict
More quantity than quality here, with several of these hopelessly out of sorts. Stitch In Time hasn't always impressed with his attitude, mainly because of his high head carriage, but he has managed to win seven races, so he can't be doing too much wrong. Four of those wins have been around here and he has gone well fresh in the past, so he cannot be left out of calculations. King Priam is another "character" and was winning his first race for a year when landing a weak claimer here earlier this month. Although he is the winner of thirteen races, he is generally one to oppose nowadays. Four times a winner here, three over this trip, Duc's Dream is clearly worthy of respect. Dave Morris' five-year-old is holding his form well and will be difficult to keep out of the frame. There should be little between him and Faraway Look, but this will be the latter's fifth race in as many weeks and he may be ready for a break. Escalade did well to finish as close as he did behind Miss Holly last time, as he took a fierce grip early on. Providing he settles better here, he should go well. However, the selection is Michaels Dream, who has the blinkers back on. He will be all the sharper for his outing here last week behind Glory Quest, and is taken to land his first success on this surface.
