        Verdict

        The betting suggested CARBUTT'S RIDGE was expected to come good over track and trip last time and he duly obliged. He beat Never Say convincingly on that occasion and can confirm running despite the worse terms. Kemsing could only manage third here on Tuesday having won over 7f before that with Window Shopping well behind while Pivotal Dream's recent placed efforts came at Wolverhampton and he debuts on this surface today. Granita and Mumbles Magic have yet to threaten but may do better now handicapping for the first time.
