In depth

Verdict

Greyfriarschorista recorded his first win since 2013 and first success over 6f when landing a claimer here last month. He will go close with a similar effort but KUNG HEI FAT CHOY looks to have an easier task than when third here last time attempting to give plenty of weight to Captain Lars, rated 80. He faces nothing of that calibre in this and gets the nod. Abi Scarlet has recorded all nine wins so far on the Fibresand but all came over 6f or shorter while Moonlight Venture beat Oak Bluffs in a seller at Wolverhampton recently and is also a course winner.
