Verdict

Empty The Tank had been in good form before stepping up to this level last time and finishing well beaten at Ludlow. But MONDO CANE beat subsequent dual winner Hope's Wishes when scoring at Towcester and looks to have leading claims on that evidence. Being Global is getting closer and It's Oscar won over hurdles at Fakenham before falling over fences at the same track last month. Mister Dick has been competing against higher rated horses than these in novice events and should do better now handicapping for the first time.
