Verdict

KILKENNY ALL STAR may be able to give weight and a beating to his rivals at this level although Chicago Alley holds obvious claims and Roganstown could be interesting. Chicago Alley has a 12lb rise in the weights to contend with following a clearcut success at Huntingdon but she has been rated higher in the past and looks capable of making further progress for her current handler. However, preference is for Kilkenny All Star who gained his first success in November after joining this yard but is now 2lbs lower having generally been well held since then. He does have something to prove on his recent form but this looks less competitive than many contests he's asked to contest and he should have the scope to be a factor. Roganstown has also been disappointing but he may be transformed by the decision to go chasing which is presumably what connections are hoping for from Final Son whilst support for the well handicapped Cordier would be of interest; The Kealshore Kid has obvious claims but Kilkenny All Star gets the nod.
