Verdict
CHESTNUT BEN ran well again when third at Market Rasen last time having scored at Wetherby earlier. He should make another bold bid racing off the same mark in this uninspiring contest. Gwili Spar won at Uttoxeter in September and is 7lb higher today and Stormbay Bomber was successful over track and trip last year but hasn’t raced since August. Elkstone has been thereabouts without looking like winning but could still prove best of the rest.
